GE and BHP Billiton have joined forces in a bid to improve efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the mining sector.As part of the partnership, the companies will also identify new solutions to address growing global demand for resources, including copper, iron ore and coal.

Assays are expected in two weeks from the diamond core recovered from Boadicea’s Red Cap prospect, 6km northeast of the Nova-Bollinger nickel copper deposit now owned by Independence.
